Oral Care was founded in 1989 and is a leading dental services provider in Sweden and Norway, with multiple clinics and a large mobile dentistry business in Sweden.
Kennemerland is a dental chain with a range of branches in Haarlem and surrounding areas. The company offers a broad range of services such as general dentistry, oral hygiene, endodontology, orthodontics, and prosthetics.
Stepstone Corporate Finance+ advised Oral Care on finding the right platform in the Netherlands. Stepstone has an excellent track record in international buy-&-build processes. To find the right platform, first, the market was mapped to identify relevant players and successfully approach various shortlisted candidates. SCF is in discussions with multiple potential add-on candidates, who are enthusiastic about the distinguishing approach of Oral Care with its focus on quality, and not on quantity.
The acquisition of Kennemerland marks Oral Care’s entry into the Dutch dental clinic market. Oral Care aims to continue to grow through a buy-and-build strategy. Potential targets can either be a chain of multiple clinics or a single clinic located near Kennemerland with a minimum of 800k in revenue, two or more dentists, and at least 3/4 chairs.
