Sweco Netherlands has decided, for strategic reasons, to divest this business unit. As a result of this transaction, Sweco Vastgoedmanagement will continue under a new name: V&K Real Estate
Jeroen Verwolf and Erik Kleemans will jointly lead the company’s management. Verwolf, formerly Business Unit Manager of Sweco Vastgoedmanagement, will run the company alongside Kleemans. The firm will continue independently, aiming to broaden its services and intensify collaborations with existing and new clients. With a team of approximately forty employees, V&K Real Estate will remain focused on the management and value optimisation of real estate assets for institutional investors and private clients. V&K Real Estate is active nationwide across all property sectors.
Eugene Grüter, CEO of Sweco Netherlands, commented: “When it comes to real estate management, we concluded that the dedication and commitment of the involved employees deserve a different context — one that better supports business continuity and facilitates growth. We are pleased to have found a party where real estate management is a better fit for both clients and employees.”
Verwolf, Partner at V&K Real Estate, added: “I very much look forward to working with the existing, trusted team of driven specialists to build a renewed and service-oriented real estate platform.”
